This is my computer now, dual-boot Win XP Home and Ubuntu 7.10. Moved from Windows screen shots to Unix/Linux because even the Windows screen shot is running Linux
 Lots and lots of credits to some awesome customization deviants, where do I begin... Top screen shot Windows XP Home (dual screen) with Mediterraneo 3.51 VS visual style by ~MaRoC68 and Full Of Bends - "Vistafied" wallpaper by ~teuche. Running Notepad++. QEMU is running Damn Small Linux. DSL wallpaper is fractalMovementscape by ~love1008 (DSL default wallpaper) I love how the clock in Linux says 11:14 while the clock in Windows says 11:16  Bottom left screen shot Ubuntu 7.10 Linux, GNOME, Compiz, XGL.  Desktop wallpaper is Channel by ~digger87. Sky behind desktop cube is dfsogks by ~Andycap. Top of desktop cube is Ubuntu Brown by *CoffeeDaze.Apps running are Pidgin Internet Messenger Mozilla Firefox The GIMPBottom right screen shot Same credits as bottom left, except this one is a view of one of the desktops with no apps. I am in love with Linux again, and I almost never use Windows anymore. I tried KDE but for some reason it runs like crap on my computer while GNOME is smooth as silk. |
